Anyone tell me how I can load games onto my Xbox? Think its the middle of the range one (not the arcade or the expensive black one) but so far I've only managed albums.
I'm useless with anything technical so an idiot's guide would be most appreciated.
You mean copying discs to the hard disk, yes?
When you put a disc in, on the 'play game' option under 'my xbox' you'll see something like (A) Select, (X) Eject, (Y) Details. Press (Y) and it'll give you the option to install to disk.
Note that you'll still need the game disc inserted after installation for copy protection reasons, it's just faster to load and quieter this way.

OK, now I'm scared. Am I supposed to update the thing? I never had to do that with my Spectrum.....
Do you connect your xbox to the internet? If so then it'll already be uptodate... well it would have said "xbox live needs to update" or something along those lines.
