So, in the spirit of fairness, presumably the athletes from the Paralympic team will be offered million pound hair care and 16 blade razor deals? Are Royal Mail painting the post boxes gold? Will Adidas be making another of their ball ache "Street" adverts?

Quite a few already have significant sponsorship, and no doubt after the performances in London it will increase.

My Cousin is competing in the Paralympics - he's a sailorist and has a nice shiny BMW 520D courtesy of a sponsorship deal. He's well chuffed!

You do have to factor in that there are more medals available at the Paralympics due to the different classes that the athletes compete in.
Either way, both teams have performed beyond expectations and should take all the rewards for it.
