If you are in Team BullHeart ( http://www.singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/petesgaff-bullheart) then yes.

Otherwise this thread may seem a little strange.

As you can tell from the photos, I have been carrying on!

I just hope some other team members spot the post before I start looking a bit weird!

This is me looking decidedly glam (for me) - I won't look anything like this on 'race day'. I might wear my wig though:

Likes: sunshine, red, cheese
Dislikes: impoliteness, being cold, celery
Dress choice: I am hoping for something with sequins, but if not I might wear my wedding dress. Unless my husband wants to wear it? :-S

The Laura Ashley frock or smock is full of pretty florals, have a rummage through your local charity shop.

TN - I remember your wedding dress (red) it was gorgeous.

Thanks bunnyhop.
I reckon this'd be a great opportunity to reuse the dress. 🙂 (with a slight modification to the skirt of course)

Just for Diane:
[i]Posting an Image

The image must be hosted on the internet somewhere.

If it is on your computer you must first upload it to a photo hosting site. Try a search for image hosting to get you started.

Once you have chosen the image you want to show on the forum you need to find its URL (universal resource locator – its location on the internet).

Do this by right clicking on the image and choosing “copy image location” (or similar wording depending on your web browser). Note that this must be the location of the image itself, not the URL of the page it is on.

Then go to the forum and type without spaces:

[ img ] [ /img ]

Where ‘ ’ is the URL you just retrieved.

If you are linking to an image that you do not own copyright on then you must link back to the originating website by adding the [ url ] tag around the [ img ] tag as so:

[ url= http://www.singletrackworld.com/ ][ img ] [ /img ][ /url ]

Flickr

Flickr follows the same rules as above but they have added a button to retrieve the BBcode.

Find the photo you want on flickr
Above the photo there are two boxes “actions” and “share this”
Drop the menu in “share this”
See “grab the HTML/BBCode” and click.
See two buttons below the script, “HTML” “BBCode”
Check “BBCode”
Paste this code into the Singletrack forum post box[/i]

Yep, I remember. Care to have a wager on who's going to win on the miserablist, confrontational, digs-his-heels-in front?

And for the rest of you; its a dress on the day of the race, not a photo of you from your murky past...

No dress, no ride.

Dez - 'Cos I'm a grumpy sod, I'm afraid. No sense of humour, me.

Don't worry, you can all get your own back by allocating me a 3am rain-sodden mudfest of a lap so that I have to walk three miles when I rip my mech off in the bracken.

I feed her as much as she'll eat, but she runs many times the distance I cover on each walk, so she's probably doing 40 miles per day. That's based on 2 walks of around 90 minutes each.

Anyway, trailhounds are meant to be lean. At proper racing weight (about 2kg/15%) she'd look properly thin.

The other one's a bit more substantial, but you'd never guess they eat the same
