I'm sure I saw a thread about this but can't find it...
G/f just gone full time after running her own business.. she closed business/the bank account & gotten an unexpected rebate from the tax man. How can she get at the cash?
Log in to hmrc account, request repayment.
hmm, she sent in a written form, so no login... and not sure that creating one now would resolve this. Was hoping searching "request repayment" on the HRMC would bring up something useful, unfortunately all the link talk about asking for a rebate in the 1st place, not "re-addressing".
Will look into creating her an online account, or at worst ringing them.. I've always had very reasonable advise, after the initial 30-45minute wait.
Cheers though
What was put on the forms? You normally put bank details. Hopefuly not the account that was closed. Might be best to phone them. I normally get it straight into the bank but I have had a cheque before, I think
yep form had the account that's been closed on it... she just wasn't expecting any money back & new job was a fresh start after the grief she been having from 'clients', so she'd shut everything down..
Limited or Self Employed?
