Moving house from Sheffield to Harrogate next Friday and in my usual disorganised state I've just started considering stuff like energy/tv etc.

We currently shell out about £65/month to Sky for TV, Phone Rental and Broadband. We have all the channels except movies as we just don't watch them. Generally use Sky Sports (F1 in particular), the Documentary channels and Kids Channels in the main.

Is there much in the way of savings to be made with BT Vision or Virgin and will I be able to access Sky F1? Also, is there a way of getting HD without Rupert Murdoch getting any richer? After the whole phone hacking thing, I'd quite like to stop lining their pockets.
