I'm currently sat in my living room listening to music streamed from my phone through my AV amp via my chromecast....

In my bedroom I've got my very old Technics mini hifi, which still sounds great, but it'd be good to be able stream music to that as well, is there anything that works in a similar way to the chromecast for hifi? Or is it worth replacing with something modern & shiny?

Have a bluetooth receiver from Asda (£12) but depends how far away your are as bluetooth gets hammered from interference easily.
Now have an Airport Express and is perfect, extends my wifi too from Mac to Time Capsule to Express all over the house. Had no need to replace/upgrade sound system so Aux in works perfect.

I'm currently using Spotify on my tablet (in my hand) tethered to my hifi by the asda Bluetooth receiver.

Very happy with result.
