I thought it tasted worryingly like one of my early homebrews (which was epic in it's own right, and had a Jesus like miraculous property of getting an entire after gig party very, very drunk despite an incredibly modest supply).
I like most of their other stuff though.
Yeah I'm aware of the anti-brew dog feeling.
I don't generally go for them, they're nice but nothing special. Got a bit curious with this one though, for obvious reasons.
Not sure it'll be a regular tipple!
I have home brewed stuff that smells similar, but not tasted. Reeks of alcohol but I only ever managed ~9%
I liked it and would have it again which makes it more than just a novelty.
Tokyo* and Paradox I love. The recent Paradox Grain is my favourite so far.
Tokyo* is wonderful with some ice-cream... makes an amazing Affogato (Beer Float).
TNP tastes like it was made from dead penguins. IMO of course
I liked the stuff, but again, I can't imagine you'd drink it too often, and at £5 a go in their bars its not exactly cheap. Sink the Bismark was pretty good too, similar sort of thing.
