So i have an android phone, missus has an apple. It would be rather handy to be able to synchronize calenders between the two, preferably where both will be updated if one user makes a change. The main computer at home is a iMac btw. IS there any way to do it?
Aye, use google calendars. Me and the other half have the same set up as you.
What he said. We use that and it's great. Stops any debate or missed events between us and syncs perfectly between phones, laptops and anything else we have to access the internet.
Does the google calender sync with the native calender app on the apple phone?
Just echoing what's said above, brilliant for organizing nursery pic ups, biking trips etc

yes you can get google calendar in the native calendar app on an iphone, we use it as a family across Ihpone's, Android phones and window phones, it also sync to the Imac calendar as well
