I know the cgi/ special effects look dated now but the concept of strapping 20lb of C4 explosives and 15lb stainless steel ball bearings to a body set off by an electric dog collar is brilliant. And the shot of the ball bearing rolling towards Hugh Jackman blood stained with his reflection in it always stand out in mind as one of my favourite movie shots.
And I thought this was going to be an interesting thread on torpedo bombers!!

The CGI did date really quickly, but Halle still saves the film, for me at least!
And yes that interview test is cringeworthy, at best!

Just watched the only bit in the film worth seeing, apparently, could be an urban myth but she got paid$5million just to flash them 😆
Another reference disc for me. The first five minutes are exceptional, proper "show off your system" scene. First time I saw it, I yelled "YES!" and restarted the movie.
