Browsing new watches and the M1 happens to be better-looking than most watches around the same price, so it's kind of a free HRM.
Anyone wear one permanently and use the HRM occasionally? Reviews on Amazon suggest the battery life is feeble, though of course they neglect to mention how often they're using it as an HRM.
And is the basic HRM actually worth having, eg does it beep at you when you go out of a defined zone?

No experience of an M1, but I use a T6c as my everyday watch and it works fine for that - no problems with battery life with mine, and I can't see why the M1 should be worse.
