Heading to the in-laws near Swindon for the weekend and keen to ride. Forestry work in the Quantocks has limited the opportunity there, and whilst Afan is a possibility we’ve ridden there already this summer.
Any other suggestions?
Shall I be the first to suggest the woods behind Nationwide...?
Or, FoD? Or Flyup417?
Or lots of bridleway bimbling options in the Cotswolds, but that's gone out of fashion these days 🙁
Or lots of gravel options in the Cotswolds, which is bang on trend 😉
DH, XC, Trails, natural, etc.?
FOD any good for you?
If XC then I'm sure there'll be some good routes in the North Wessex Downs if you want to spend less time in the car and more time riding.
Haha @ the Nationwide trails.
FOD is an option but we did an uplift there not so long ago.
Mleh to gravel, Gnarduro TIL we die!
I'd forgotten about behind the Nationwide.

That, frankly is horse shit. Great wood is being worked, granted, and that leaves the endurobros bereft of winch and plummet trails, but for those with a more imagination there are quite literally miles of quality riding that doesn't involve Great wood.
Thanks for that info. I’d prefer to ride the Quantocks as I’ve done all the others to death.
