I'm looking for warm, dry, sunny, preferably English-speaking and with no extradition treaty with the UK.
Anyone got any thoughts or experiances?

I would have said Arizona but the English speaking condition rules it out

Ireland? They seem to hate the English here sufficiently. Ooops, you said dry and sunny... London Underground?

No extradition and English speaking is the tough part.

Your financial situation is a big factor as well.

Latin American countries are a good choice if you can speak Spanish.

Thailand/Cambodia/Vietnam/Indo/P'ines are all easy enough to get long-term visas for depending on age and money.

Not really a problem, but kind of the reason behind the extradition treaty part.
Bit reluctant to come home at the mo in case they don't let me out again. Looking for somewhere I can stay long term, and languages have never been my strong point.

You're a bit of a crap criminal, then: enough money and language is never a problem.

Just lack of planning mogrim. Sometimes you just take the oppertunity when it arrives.
Thankfully we can get R4 where I am now (and no, I won't say, it's a bit close for comfort) or I wouldn't have understood what plop was on about.

crap criminal leaves simple to follow trail on internet forum

you choose to be crap at languages

learn differently

english is the international business language. hang out with the educated classes in most countries and you'll be fine - if they like you

Know and met a few people on their toes some bar stool warriors others telling the truth

One lad was settled with a wife and kids, teaching EFL, mundaine boring job, had a decent income though from property, but he was never sure what was going to happen when his passport expired. Expired by now, but lost touch.

Check for countries with residency status - Argentina used to be one - if you lived there a set period you could get citizenship
