Seems a few on here are using it so I've only gone & started a group.
Feel free to join in.
Not sure what we'll do, put some stats together maybe, that sort of thing.
Cheers.
🙂

How does fitbit integrate with myfitnesspal, or do you use it to add activity calories?

I had five weeks off booze and had a couple of scoobs tonight. That adds 800 cals right away. 😯

Re-joined. Still think it's missing a) less buggy app and b)the competition of strava.

App has had a few updates recently coffeeking.
No bugs that I've noticed, other than the odd spot of bother syncing when on a crappy GPRS connection.

I think competition would ruin the feel-good supportive atmosphere but there are plenty of folks showing off their biceps and washboard abs in the forum if you want that. (Though not in the STW group obviously!)

Not sure competition is needed could lead to food disorders. 🙂

iPad and iPhone app have been good last 30 days and the web interface is pretty nice.

I am cayman07 on the myfitnesspal community.

I may struggle though as I'm off to the Canaries for a few weeks of sunshine next Tues - I'll just have to be good 🙂

Joined as FattBoba, 1700 calories yesterday after laying off the Sunday night booze. Went from toast to porridge for brekkie, might go for a spin on bike soon......see how long it is before I'm craving peanut butter

Only problem is, everytime I go for a ride I end up back at the start of my calories for the day!
Did a sportive the other day and it wiped out my calories for a week!

I never try to eat my exercise calories, just stay in the black with them

Nor do i.... but you end up with fairly meaningless numbers, says i'll lose 50lbs or more in a couple of weeks. Seems ok if you dont do exercise over an hour or so/just use the gym...

I just don't bother reading that either, I just use it all as a food/wieght diary

See my recent post in the group. MFP overestimates exercise calories IMO.
You need a HRM for an accurate reading, or just do what I do and knock a large chunk off what MFP says.
