Still sporting good value shorts too!

entertaining recognising mugshots from previous mugshot threads going back through the mists of time.

Me, walking in the Portes du Soleil
Terrible photo quality, despite the charming subject matter.

How did you manage that? I gave up after 3 unsuccessful edits.

Anyway, at the end of the ride at Forth Fat last month. It looks a bit better smaller - it is much bigger than I thought and it appears I'm getting a bit old for high res...
😕

Now, it may be that things are clouding your mind right now, but there's only so much I can forgive! Fighting talk, young man, fighting talk!

2F0s, worn as I was probably going to get some riding in on that trip. Pilot G2 because they're excellent for doing the crossword.

Hilarious shoe choices and apparently short stumpy legs in slacks which no doubt are paired with a very colourful top.

You are Mr Tumble and I claim my £5.

This did occur to me, sad to say but I wondered the wisdom of doing that as a woman alone. Cool photo but ...

I've not had any problems biviing anywhere tbh.

Would you really be less likely to have a problem with a group of dodgy blokes as a man?

Only problem I'd have with bivvying there is thought of getting rode over

It's a great spot to bivi, I rode into the forest quite late just a the moon was rising - quite magical. . . Didn't see or hear another soul during the night. But woke to the noise of mountain bikers chatting - which just made me laugh as even though I was in the middle of the woods I was undoubtedly in the west midlands.

People tend to give you a wide berth when you bivi out anyway. . .as you are generally viewed as the 'nutter' in the situation!

That's the spirit Houns, keep looking ahead.
It's the only thing that keeps me going.

Oh just so I'm not getting out of the pic thing, late night about to go to bed.

🙂 it's a good thing to have on your to do list.

I know people who don't do it often have the view point of it being scary or dangerous. But until they've hidden themselves away in a dark spot somewhere under the stars and woken to a glorious morning they probably won't understand the appeal.

@mike nice, always gets me slightly though when you've battled to a remote peak only to find someone in a bright pink puffa jacket and matching jeans already there 🙂

@adjustable we are all envious and supportive, amazing what a micro adventure can do for the spirits. Indeed maybe your are right, man or woman perhaps no different and also re the "nutter" 😉

No, not remote but isolated enough in the dark.

(And if we're being pedantic - it's hardly a chuffing mountain! 😛 )
