Don't forget you might need to make changes as teams are finalised. When I was setting up my team, Stannard was on the Sky roster as they defaulted to late year's team (presumably without any riders who've changed teams?), but he's not riding this year. I'm waiting on a couple of teams to confirm and suspect I may have to make changes

Rider lists being updated regularly as each squad is finalised, so remember to check your team for non-starters. I had Alex Dowsett down, but he's not riding so I've had to make changes

In, taken a couple of punts, will likely fall flat on my backside.

Froome's 26 points, Porte and Sagan 22, then down to 18 for Quintana. Everyone else is 16 and below. Porte is looking strong but I think a lot of the tipping him as favourite is mindgames. Gone for a heavily GC biased team, which given is seems to be a sprinters Tour seems a tad naive, hey-ho. Sagan's over rated anyway isn't he?!?!

After some shuffling around, I've got Steve Cummings in. Had to drop a big name though.

I've done a full analysis of the stages, best suited riders to each, spreadsheet, recent form. Then picked some funny sounding names cos I ran out of $$.

So I'll be way down the pecking order as usual 🙁

If you pick a rider on the velogames site and then go back on a day or two later, will it tell you if any of your team has been withdrawn or do you have to do a proper check on the officialish sites ?

If you visit your team page and scroll down, there's a "starter" column in the grid view. Tick for those riding, cross for those no longer on the roster

I've built mine for the 2nd half of the tour, it's all climbers except Kristoff and Cummings. That's my excuse for being towards the bottom anyway...

I'm also in although it was a rush job on Saturday morning. Our week old new born us using up all of my energy so plan on being way down the list some Paris!

Valverde out which has scuppered my team, but i'm not that arsed as i don't particularly like him anyway, I just wanted the points.

Luckily I swapped out Valverdi last minute - for Izagirre unfortunately!

Well with Cav and Sagan gone thats a few teams torpedoed mine included

I honestly couldn't remember who I picked - just checked and thankfully Demare and Kittel for the sprints. I'm creeping up...

so what's supposed to happen to Sagan's points from yesterday? Did they get added to his total and to people's teams?

EDIT: aha, I see he was given 10pts for Stage 4 which I assume comes from the intermediate sprint, with his final sprint points lost with his relegation.

Oh no! Now I've lost Sagan, nbt is beating me by 3 points. 🙂

Just looked up my team, it appears all the marginal picks I made were wrong.
Rolland or Uran, I went Rolland.
Aru or Mollema, I went Mollema.
Gilbert or Dan Martin, I went Gilbert

Porte and Majka are out of mine and Pinot has only been mentioned with reference to wine!!

I'm actually disappointed I'm not last anymore.
I've finished in the top 100 overall in years past, i'm currently 52168th out of 54711 😆

My team this year is utter pants, mainly because i wanted to do the operation puerto joke that is not even funny!

Looking at the STW velogames, most of us have lost a big named rider.
I chose Sagan over Froome, also G over Dan Martin.

I finished in 12th place, am really pleased with that. Thanks to EBH. 😀

27th in the end. Peaked at 4th mid way through, despite losing Porte early then Aru started going backwards and Kittel went out.

I was 14th which is a bit disappointing. Big respect to Welly though. Good win for this tour and 81st in the overall!

24th. Lowest finish ever for me.
