Signed up with AWS a few weeks ago to try out the S3 storage. All fine and dandy although some of their web pages are slow to load.
Today I go to chnage a setting and I'm unable to login and it keeps asking me to create an account (which I've already got).
So I check the Amazon shop and I can login fine there which is odd because it's a shared login across all Amazon services.
So I decide to contact support to see what's going on and guess what - you have to log in to access the support pages...... BA****DS!
Given that this was a trial I think I'll be looking at Google's offerings instead.
Just found support online chat - told them the problem and the reply was "I'll forward this issue AWS account and they'll contact you within 1 to 2 business days."
So much for easy and constant access to your data!
