Whilst sorting out the shed at the weekend I rediscovered a 20 year old Gunther stunt kite - and then spent the next 2 hours flying it instead of clearing the shed.
I think Gunthers are little more than toys, so obviously I HAVE to upgrade: any suggestions for a decent beginners/intermediate stunt kite brand or model, and where to buy?
Thanks,
rogg

I find it hard to say stunt kite without an accidental spoonerism.

I've still got a prism micron I bought in Canada years ago
Small but blindingly fast in anything upwards of a breeze

They're cheap at under 45 inc lines
Pack small so you can take it hiking, fairly bombproof
Well recommended

Bought a few bigger kites like scimitars etc but nothing
comes close to the micron for sheer fun factor

No recommendations to make. Just to say I used to love flying my Peter Powel Kite ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Powell_(kite)) as a kid. Many, many, many hours lost on beaches round the country.
