the healing effects of honey?
tarot cards?
ghosts?
psychic powers?
powerband bracelets?

go on then, what is it that you believe in? doesn't matter that you can't explain it or defend it, or that the rest of society mocks you for holding such beliefs... this is not the place to argue if eating vitamin D tablets will or won't cure your nasty underbeard rash or that god doesn't exist so how can ghosts, its just a thread for the believers 🙂

Mentioning the 'P' word in conjunction with the words 'don't get them with these tyres' will incur the wrath of the god of 'p*******' and you will get countless P's forever thereafter.

I don't believe that "sick days" exist, only days where you don't feel very well in the office.

I do agree, but also...

People who work for themselves tend to overstate how hard they really work.

The rain in Spain falls mainly in the plain.

Although I'm not sure if the Spanish call them plains. They probably have a much more exciting name for them that makes them sound dangerous, or wild, or something, as opposed to the UK thoughts I have of plains which mainly involves mud, puddles and being made to walk everywhere.

1/ that the universe is far more surprising, complex and intricate that either the scientists or religicists could possibly imagine.

2/ that your gut instinct is always right. the hard part is being able to hear it clearly.

Mountain biking is basically "pretending you're on a dirt bike".
(I've been doing it for over 30 yrs, and the biggest change in that time is I don't make "broom broom" noises out loud any more. (I think.))

Steel is real.

the healing effects of honey?

I’ve flown from one side of this galaxy to the other, and I’ve seen a lot of strange stuff, but I’ve never seen anything to make me believe that there’s one all-powerful Force controlling everything. That said, there's plenty of research to indicate that honey is good for wound care.

Facebook is NOT going to last forever. Nor is it going to change the future. Before Facebook there was MySpace, before MySpace there was Friends Reunited.

Apple will hit a brick wall. They're already starting to lose their innovation, and gradually they'll have to resort more and more to patent trolling.

erm...

I think it has semi antiseptic properties - just like ancient civilisations using tree resin to cover wounds - keeps the dirt out, dries and drops off when needed.

And Guardian Angels.

Though if you ask me about any of this in real life, I'd deny it.

So I can't believe he's a real Doctor either.

A genuine belief in a Supreme Being, aka God, is tantamount to mental delusion bordering on insanity and if you believe the Supreme Being/God speaks to you then Ka-ching....you've hit the schizophrenic jackpot.

Our democracy is a delusion afforded to us by our apparent satisfaction with how we perceive the democratic process to work for us rather than how it really is.
