Just bought a new Atera Strada DL3.

Can't get it off!

The lever you lift, after pulling a trigger won't move.

Anyone else had the same problem?

Ok mine is older, but you have to lift the lever then release the trigger to catch the ratchet that undoes the ball clamp.

if the lever won’t lift, push down on it firmly as if trying to clamp it tighter before pulling the trigger to lift it up

If it’s from roofbox, call them from beside the rack, they’ll talk you through it.

As above, process is; pull release trigger and hold whilst lift lever, release trigger, pull lever forward to release from the ball.

Are you saying that when you hold the trigger you can’t lift the lever? Any chance you overtightened it?

Is tbe trigger moving far enough to release the lever?

Following advice on here, i used a ratchet strap to pop the trigger enough to release the lever.

Lift the back of the rack (Nr number plate) as you squeeze the trigger and lift the lever up. Might need a bit of a yank up.

Force did it. Was using the right technique. When It got it off |fetched off all the manufacturing burrs, excess paint etc and now it's fine.
