That is interesting actually, if I genuinely thought it didn't matter I don't know that I wouldn't care. Both men and women seem to admire nice boobs so you're damned if you don't if you don't.

Molly, I think if your boobs arent " normal" then I think for some people it's just one more thing to have issues about. Too small and too big, society makes judgments about you. I won't bore you with all the crazy stuff that I used to think about!! But little boobs was just one more part of the bullying I used to get.

One young lady I knew some years back had her boobs taken to an E from a B; a very good job had been done, but then she hadn't gone to a cheap cosmetic surgeon. Clearly you get what you pay for, and she was extremely pleased with the results. They looked and felt [i]very[/i] close to natural.

Yes, but changing your boobs won't make any difference. I think it's underlying insecurity. I think it would be a lot healthier mentally and probably physically to fix the underlying issues.

I used to get teased and bullied for being different to the other kids. I could've tried to change my personality, or I could've pressed on and eventually found people who liked me...

I went with the "pressed-on to find someone who likes me for who I am option" and then found I actually liked me too.

Which resulted in - more money to spend on bikes not implants 😀

Can't comment from experience I'm afraid, but the little experience I have of the subject makes me think it's the person they are attached to that is more important, unless there is a proper medical reason to have it done.

And the PIP implant thing made me wonder if the cost of counselling might be cheaper than having implants

My own preference is for small, but perfectly formed, with nipples that point slightly up. That's the fantasy, in reality, I've never been with a girl with large boobs, or enhanced. There are occasions where I can really understand a woman wanting help, if her boobs are really drooping, and she feels very unhappy and insecure in herself, then anything that helps give her confidence in herself, and makes her happy, then fine, but getting big implants for pure 'hey, boys, look at these!' vanity, I'm not so sure about. They wouldn't impress me.

Mmm I've come to the conclusion that it's best to stick au natural, that seems to be general consensus anyhooo. Probably just as well, looked at prices today. £5k for a decent surgeon! Much better stuff to spend on. Had no idea it could be that expensive :/

Hmmm, i've known one girl who had a reduction because she was (probably still is) a county-level showjumper and her boobs were causing her a lot of pain when her horse went over the jumps.

Another friend (who is quite busty anyway) recently went through breast cancer and the ensuing lumpectomy and drugs/radiation treatment. As part of her treatment she was offered augmentation surgery, the surgeon told her "we'll make the affected one whole again, give the other a lift and make them look like they're 19 again!"

She originally rejected the idea, but has now decided to go through with it. Because it is now an elective surgery she has been told she has to give up smoking (yay!!) before they will operate.

She proudly told me (at a CRC Marathon event no less) that.. "I'm not giving up smoking for fitness, i'm giving up smoking for a boob job!" 😆

Definitely natural - watched a friend going through pain after a boob job under the muscle and no-one should have to do that! (they do look pretty amazing, though)
