From what i recall, there used to be a few places called 'grope xxxx lane'. Allegedly derives from medieval times when sexual terms and terms for body parts weren't as offensive as they are today. Needless to say it was usually where the 'ladies of negotiable affection' plied their trade...

Lots of towns had them, but most have coyly been re-named Love St, Lovers Lane or similar.
I quite like 'Stinking Wynd' in Culross in Fife.
I also like all the ambivalent place names in Galloway - Ae? Urr... Mabie. And then to add to the ambivalence quite a few places have two names and the can't settle on which to use "Kippford or Scaur", "Crocketford or Nine Mile Bar"
