IMO it sort of jumped the shark in series 1 episode 5ish when you get to see the monster and it's ridiculous.
That didn't stop us watching the next two and a half series-worth though :-/

I recall the "there's an American in cell 101" stuff at the end of S3, but for whatever reason I thought it was the conspiracy theory chap who was in there.

TBH I recall being quite disappointed they'd killed Hopper off as he was the best character by a long chalk.

Season 1 was a nice nostalgia trip. Season 2 was ok, but a bit stale. Season 3 was getting really stale. I guess I'll give s4 a try, but not expecting much.
