Mixer tap in en-suite has been dripping
Latest development is that the tap whistles when hot water is used elsewhere in the house - this carries on for a few minutes each time
Also seems to be dripping hot water when it whistles, even though tap is set to cold position

Might be a backflow problem with the mixer tap. Changes/differential in pressure allowing water back up either hot or cold from the other supply?
Check valves on each supply to the mixer would fix it.
