Hmm - yeah the police took a while to respond and no ambulance turned up at all, but he only had a broken arm - did he forget that his legs still worked?

Police Scotland do seem to have a problem with the idea that if someone makes an emergency call, maybe there's an emergency they should do something about.

Perhaps the problem is spreading.

Ben think that should read "police Scotland have been so pared to the bone and had call centres cut with no real increase in staffing at surviving ones that mistakes that wouldn't normally happen do." Its terrible what's happened but austerity comes at a price.
