Just had some dozy hippie bike courier in the post room boasting about re-selling bikes that he strongly suspects are stolen by his "mate". The last one was a Specialized "Roubaix", probably some poor bastard's pride and joy.
After attempting to justify his actions by mumbling something about "big corporations", he seemed to be surprised that I thought his actions were disgusting and that I told him to get out of my post room.
I worked with a bloke who tried to sell me a Roubaix he'd bought at a car boot sale for 500 quid. I told him it was obviously nicked (it was that year's model), he said there was no proof and would I like to buy it. Some people are happy to do that sort of thing.
Next time you see him, tell him yer interested, get some contact details and of his 'mates' and grass him and them up to the police.
If they get a nice 29er HT, throw me a shout 🙂
Report him to the police for handling stolen goods. Report him to the courier company too.
