Hot off the back another current thread...I am the only person I know who stirs anti-clockwise.
Clockwise feels wrong.
Am I weird?

I sort of do a figure of 8. Not sure what that makes me. I hope its not one of those tests that determines your true sexuality.

Anti clockwise here too. I can tell by tasting whether it's been stirred the wrong way.

Anti-clockwise means you ride a 26er, clockwise means you ride a 29er ๐Ÿ˜‰

Apparently, people who stir in a figure of eight are hermaphrodites ๐Ÿ˜•

I'm a hermaphrodite? The next time someone tells me to go **** myself it'll have a whole new significance!

Anti-clockwise. It's the law.

I don't stir in circles, because you often get a vortex which leaves some undies solved in the middle. Instead, I use the spoon as a paddle back and forth.

What about the change in note pitch as you stir sugar in compared to the consistent note without sugar? ๐Ÿ˜€

Figure of 8 or side to side for 'ficiency

Why you would put sugar in tea or coffee though...

I think a circle is the most efficient, despite the vortex in the middle, because you get the maximum amount of sheer. Best method then is circles with a random stroke every couple of seconds to break up the vortex and add a little turbulence, then back to circles.

Clockwise? What is this deviance? You're unstirring it!

There again, I'm left-handed so probably not one to talk.

anti-clockwise. but apparently, according to my mum, that invites the devil into the house (no kidding, or at least that's what she believes...)

Was caught stirring the soup (or porridge, or whatever) A-C once, and that was me told off..

Damn you, spellcheck ๐Ÿ˜‰

I considered changing direction several times to maximise turbulence - but that also increases the risk of sloppage.

Clockwise= vote Tory
Anticlockwise = vote Labour
Figure eight = tripped and fell over, Norman Wisdom style, on the way to the polling station
