[Closed] Stinky sweat?
Probably sounds silly, but at the end of my daily commute my gear smells like the neighbours cat has pissed on it. I always shower before I leave home, and wear clean riding gear - but by the end of a ride my clothes have a very strong ammonia smell.
Anyone else get this?
ammonia is a byproduct of anaerobic respiration, I think.
Ride slower 😉

Used my Howies one today - still smells, just not quite as bad. It's a fresh ammonia smell.
Its bacteria either onyou r skin or more likely in your riding kit that causes the stink. Synthetics are very prone to this
High temp wash for your kit. Low temps will not kill the bugs
I've noticed that sweat from my head has a vinegary aspect to its smell. Is that a bit weird?
