Is there anywhere near the Chase to park up overnight and kip. Arriving late and leaving early.

There is an app called park4night that shows loads of park ups on Google maps.

Lots of the smaller car parks would be ok, often see camper vans parked up at the small car park round the corner from Marquis drive, will have to check the name of it, hang on.

Edit - Flints Field car park, or Brindley Bottom would be my pick. Maybe down Chase road by Freda's Grave, but quite far from the trails there.

Park4night app locally is a list of dogging spots . Tread carefully.

And let's face it; if Cannock Chase is famous for anything... beware horny marauding footballers!

Don't park up on the FC parks, marquis drive is probably ok if you arrive late leave early. FC parks may be ok but they do say no overnight camping and they are patrolled,
And yeah, don't flash your lights....
