wtf is going on. i'm trying to buy a house, i seem to be getting bills from left right and centre even before the amount of money for the house. it's more complicated than working out gear ratios or what tyre for cut gate.
then i sit here watching the news and the IMF are stirring things up again, the greeks are revolting, italy has an old fashioned gangster for a premier and the financial world is a mess.
THEN there's an article on a bloke moving, f*cking moving, and island. so it becomes a floating art installation. ok he's trying to highlight global warming as it's only become apparent because a glacier has receeded. but what's it going to cost in fuel and pollution to move it.
Oh and the bright spark who thought it all up has been given half a million quid. WTF.
there are soldiers missing bits of their bodies walking to the pole to RAISE money for their commrades, the mountain rescue/cave rescue/rnli are all charities relying upon donations. what could they do with half a mill?

Millions wasted on a 2 week junket nest year at the olympics,

16 million to evict some caravaners in basildion,

Hospitals closing,

Privatised train companies being funded and run by the tax payer,

pointles wars in afganistan and iraq,

peace walls in ireland, to stop them fighting,

banks not lending, depite recieving billions off the tax payer,

lib-dems, actually believing theyre making a diference to peeps lives,

Its a funny old uk at the moment, without involving any foreigners.

It's a funny old world.. but peoples priorities are always going to differ..

If you want to apply your logic on a smaller scale..
Why is a wedding cake business still working out..?
How do those heartless camera maunfacturers sleep at night..?
How can you justify your cycling hobby when there are far more worthy causes that you should be supporting..?
Why are you wasting time on this forum when you should be helping an old lady cross the road..?

It's all relative and you're equally as guilty..

yes yunki you're so right. for the last two years i've been helping the national health service find out what chemo and radio therapy does for a body.
i then return to work as a secondary school teacher while my wife works as a childrens nurse. i helped a french dude that was lost the other day, not an old lady but hey none were around at the time.
my last two years have taught me it's not what you have it's who you have and i'm truly blessed with amazing family and brilliant friends.
it is relative but i'm not sh*ting on my country.

there's your answer. You are lucky in a lot of ways others aren't. It's not all about stuff and money.

the mountain rescue/cave rescue/rnli are all charities relying upon donations.

This is how they choose to operate apparently.

It's not my favourite New Order track by any measure. I much preferred "Perfect Kiss".
