Only 840m but the highest i've been in over 4 years.
A touch drafty too.

Clouds just about cleared off enough to reveal the distant peaks of hills and the mountains to the south. So that was all the more rewarding for the little hike up there.

Just a few pics to share with no narrative. I'm all written out right now. ๐Ÿ™

A new year and a great way to start it, even if it's a day late. (blame the booze).

Beautiful, where's that?
Makes the fact that I've spent all day painting the kitchen seem a bit pants! ๐Ÿ™‚

Ben Rinnes.

It wasn't horrendously cold up there.

There was a strong wind from the NE.

Normal temp at lower level was about -2degs with the wind making it feel -5/6degs up top.

We didn't hang about and badly forgot to have a dram up the top. Doh!

I started the year (quite literally) at 2000m to watch the sun rise ๐Ÿ˜€

Amazing, i'd been dancing for a couple of hrs.
