I dont often go to starbucks but was walking across town this morning and popped into grab a coffee and saw the launch paraphernalia for this new instant coffee of theirs. Thought Id grab a couple of sample packs and am now just trying one.

It's actually pretty good even if I do have a cold right now. But bloody hell, the price! Its about 40p a shot for a little sachet of ground coffee/instant coffee mix. That's nuts. If they get it down to 10p a shot, I think they might be on to a winner, but 40p is way too much for a homebrew instant. You might as well just dig out the cafetiere and make a proper brew instead.

Anyone else tried it yet?

just had a thought, it would work as a lightweight bivvy coffee solution.

Maybe it has a use afterall. A niche use, but a use all the same.

Nope.

it's never stopped an STWer having an opinion before! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I'd blame the search engine.

Not quite as light, and a bit more faff, but I use one of these for bivvying etc.
