Nice. Would be great to have the whole film rescored like that. Though cut to 22 mins catches all the essentials of the film.
For all the datedness of it and long seemingly dull stuff, it's actually a lovely film for effects and visuals for its time.
Anyway - the new series, hmm. Klingons are just wrong, it's on Netflix, and I see there's bloody lens flare in there. Can we stop with prequels also and just get on with something new and different?
I'm looking forward far more to Seth's spoof series.

the tv series was getting remade
the success of Star Wars, meant the studio wanted a movie, so they stretched out what wouldve been the pilot episode
the daft punk soundtrack really adds to the lovely visuals

Some of those special effects looked incredible. It's probably 20 years since I saw the original, but I don't remember it being like this!
