Is there a way to turn the Touch on from standby via the i.pad or Android controller apps? Everything else can be controlled ok, just not the switching on & off.

i would have thought so... i don't use the standard apps anymore, I use iPeng (on both iphone and ipad).

I can control the power on my touch, and my SB radios individually or as a group from iPeng.

i use the logitech squeezebox app on my htc, and as long as theres power to it, and its set to my library rather than my wifes, i can switch it on just by selecting 6 music on the app say. i sometimes use the phone, sometimes my laptops 'web control'.

When I open my HTC or i.pad squeezebox controller app it doesn't find the squeezebox until I turn it on via it's own remote or by touching the squeezebox screen so no library comes up-perhaps it's library related then. Generally use the "My Music" folder on the NAS

I run Squeezecentre on my NAS (Netgear Duo), and the players all stay connected to this when on standbay - maybe that is what lets me do power.

I power my NAS (Duo V2) down overnight so perhaps it loses it's link.Do you ever power your NAS down?

Hmm. Looks like something is out of kilter somewhere then
