Just in the process of finishing a garden cabin / gym /workshop / escape room. The cladding is a vertical redwood finish and now that it's on I quite like the colour of it.

What is the go to wood waterproofer/preserver these days or are they all the same. I managed to pick up a paint sprayer in the middle aisle of frivolous spending in Aldi so would like to make use of that if possible.

Someone mentioned Thomson Water Seal but their site doesn't really mention using it on wood, yet I saw a tub of it the other day that stated wood on the front of it but it doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere on their website?

Thanks in advance

Thompson's Water Seal is meant more for masonry I think. But it also works well on 20 year-old Sprayway cycling jackets that you think owe you nothing.
