Can anyone recommend somewhere for a spare car key? Don't need the fancy remote one just one to open the car when back from a ride.
Thanks

Timpsons or any local key cutter if you don't need all the electric gubbins.

Ask for a surf key if near the coast, timpsons initially wouldn’t until I uttered the secret word.

Said it was something to do with the chips in modern car keys (think that was bobbins personally)

Depending on the make and model it’s best to look for a timpsons or similar you can park outside. For my Peugeot high st shops couldn’t help as you need access to the car to pair the key to it - and the staff can’t leave the shop unattended.

Old car I phoned the local Mitsubishi dealer and they recommended a car locksmith up the road for being at least half the price. Was a swish shop so they must have been coining it in. Guy who created the key seemed to be genuinely pleased when the key worked, guessing they hadn’t done a Mitsubishi Shogun Pinin before.
