Beetroot is the work of the devil.
Keeping it 1970's with a combination of all the stuff left in the fridge this morning...

3 pints of Amber ales Barnes Wallace, cheese and onion cob and some ready salted crisp. Fortunately, I'm on a day off.
Scrambled egg on toast with two slices of ham and a few cherry tomatoes, woofed down in no time following a nice ride this morning. My wife had to shut the door into the lounge/kitchen due to the 'disgusting spectacle'.
Rogg - Beetroot is second only to pickled onions on a butty with some tasty lancs. And if you eat enough of it, your wee goes purple 😀
Remains of last night's Chinese. And a side of home-made coleslaw!
Roast pork, gravy, stuffing and apple sauce in a soft (foot long) roll. With crackling on the side.

Jerk chicken with rice, peas and fried bananas, finished off with a can of ginger beer and a pint of water. I'm currently rocking back and forth like an overfed weeble.
Brewdog cheese platter (Morangie Brie, Highland Whisky Smoked Cheddar and Gruth Dhu Crowdie), two Rogue Imperial IPA's and a Tokyo for pudding.
Spicy minced beef, smoked mackerel, avocado, green beans, broccoli and cheese. High protien, high ( good) fats, lots of fibre and low carb. Sounds horrid but it's surprisingly tasty.
We're 8 courses into lunch at the moment, just about to start the 2 dessert courses.
