I'm not as tough as I should be, and I'm getting cold working in the garage. Can anyone recommend a decent space heater?
Thank you please

How about a duel purpose item?

Tumble dryer?

Put a jumper on man.

I use one of those halogen ones if it's that cold.
More a radiant heat, that warms you directly.
No point trying to up the air temp in a drafty garage, with a fan heater.

There is a Japanese company that makes an excellent solution to this problem. I believe is called Mount Fu or something. I think the first bit sometimes gets abbreviated.

What's a tammy - is this a wood burner / IT development / audi thing?

Agree with Takisawa, I used to try and heat the garage but it's a losing battle, so I got a 1200W halogen and now I just heat me. Mind you every so often it feels like I've set myself on fire. Worth keeping draughts out though

@Garage Dweller, it's one of these:

Bit noisy but will warm the place up alright.

Or a couple of these if you don't like gas.
