Cannot contain my excitement so had to share here as the Mrs doesn't quite get it.

Long story short we've been looking for places to move locally and all around rugby area although houses were nice the area wasn't for us(also seemed quite flat for MTB) Shropshire has always been a place I've visited with older family members living there.

Mrs has found the house of her dreams and I'm about 30-40 mins away from 5-6 sweet looking spots (sure there's more once I get exploring) ABSOLUTELY BUZZING cannot wait! Been riding South downs and all the normal trail centres near me for the last 5 years so it will be nice to have all new fresh trails again.

Nice! I grew up in Shropshire - it's an amazing place. The south of Shrops especially, and the SW in particular 🙂

Have fun exploring!

I'm just outside Ludlow. On a bridleway in a very rural spot with no near neighbours and epic views. It's bloody great! 🙂👍

Drive through there last weekend and really liked it. I could see myself there for sure.

I live in one of the adjoining counties (Cheshire) and I'm often walking and biking in Shropshire. It also has the advantage of being mostly empty so don't tell anyone how nice it is.

I'm always bothering Shropshire.

As a Warwickshire resident, I'd love to live there. Lucky you.

Was riding just near Ludlow at the weekend actually. Pretty epic as always.
Nice swim in the Teme in Ludlow town after riding too.

My mate enjoying Ludlow wildlife at Ludford weir.

I'm also an Shropshire lad born and bred but now live in Germany. Ludlow is a really nice area plus there used to be some great riding in Mortimer Forest back in the day. (Used to have a regular NPS XC and DH events)but haven't been for quite a few years and of course you have Hopton Woods and the Long Mynd just down the road.
