I have a Sony AS100.
I recently took a lot of footage, recording this in the 'pro' format above, forgetting that my Mac does not like to work with this format.
I have googled converting software - the only results I have found are Brorsoft. The software seems to do what I want, but the questions I have are:
1. is it any good?
2. am I better to just use a less high resolution format that works with the mac, or is the pro setting plus conversion going to be better?
I use the free IMovie software for any editing.
Can't you just install the codec (or has it been Sonyed?)
Does the Sony PlayMemories software not handle that for you?
Sorry, I should have added I am not highly literate in the world of computers. Oh, I also have a Mac Mini, so don't have a windows friendly system.
