As title - bike was stolen just before lockdown, but due to a long frustrating story insurance ws cancelled (so never paid out) and then bike was recovered by the police. We have collected it and are now trying to sell it, but HPI shows it as stolen still.

Who do we need to speak to in order to get this sorted? Insurance co reckon it is not their problem as the insurance was cancelled. Son currently on hold to the police but have a buyer interested and just want to get rid of the damn thing.

(and yes it was listed as stolen recovered, so the buyer knows what they are getting).

Have you called HPI??

That's where I'd start as they are showing/providing the information

The guy bought it anyway - we have the paperword from the police and the recovery agent and he was OK with that. Thanks
