I am constantly surprised by the sheer amount of rock fans on this site 🙂

Been decorating at home the last few nights and had the iPod on loud (lots of AC/DC; Sabbath; Ozzy; Maiden blasting out).

🙂

How big is your ipod? 😉

Comedy. The whole thing about music is that it's completely a matter of personal taste and opinion. Isn't that kind of blindingly obvious. What you've missed is that the point of this thread is to paint yourself as ubercool as humanly possible so, I'd suggest:

Christ's Underpants - Virtual Move
Shadom - Down In The Hoodz
Teenage Soundtrack - Rage Boogie
Kelp - Esco Fwark Del Populis
Black Noise - Funeral Pyre
Joe Pizzaro - Buenas Buros De Consattina
Dark Things - Death Rattle
Slush Patrol - Wet

Loads of other stuff which doesn't exist and I've made up as well 😉

Bring me sunshine in your smile
Bring me laughter all the while
In this world where we live
There should be more happiness
So much joy you can give
To each brand new bright tomorrow

Make me happy through the years
Never bring me any tears
Let your arms be as warm as the sun from up above
Bring me fun, bring me sunshine, bring me love

Bring me sunshine in your smile
Bring me laughter all the while
In this world where we live
There should be more happiness
So much joy you can give
To each brand new bright tomorrow

Make me happy through the years
Never bring me any tears
Let your arms be as warm as the sun from up above
Bring me fun, bring me sunshine, bring me love

Bring me sunshine in your smile
Bring me laughter all the while
Let your arms be as warm as the sun from up above
Bring me fun, bring me sunshine, bring me love

Jeeze, what a question. I mean, where do I start? I've got 7000+ songs on my iPod, a selection of 800+ on a Nano, and another 1000+ on my iPhone, and they're all songs I wouldn't want to be without. And they don't include the half-dozen or so albums I've bought in the last week.
Still, a small list would include:
Maria McKee Absolutely Barking Stars
Stars Ageless Beauty
Metric Monster Hospital
Death In Vegas Aisha
Steely Dan Ricky Don't Lose That Number, Reelin' In The Years and Aja
Elvis Costello All This Useless Beauty, Man Out Of Time
Kris Delmhorst You're No Train
Abba The Day Before You Came
Joni Mitchell Court And Spark
Tori Amos 1000 Oceans, Hey Jupiter
Shawn Colvin Crazy
Blind Boys Of Alabama Dimming Of The Day
Emmylou Harris Prayer In Open D
Peter Gabriel Solsbury Hill, Here Comes The Flood, San Jacinto
Eddi Reader Dolphins
Elbow Newborn, One Day Like This, Newborn, Fugitive Motel
Don Henley New York Minute, The Boys Of Summer
Death Cab For Cutie The New Year, We Looked Like Giants
Cockney Rebel Sebastian
John Kongos He's Gonna Step On You Again
Catatonia Painful, Lost Cat
Billy Bragg Bread And Circuses

...and there's a hell of a lot more where those came from, an eclectic mixture that doesn't even scratch the surface.
