Been having a niggling doubt for the last few weeks regarding my obsession with wanting to learn how to ride a motorbike.

Had a conversation with the wife over her birthday dinner tonight about babies and going back to america for a holiday......then i brought up the motorbike thing and her eyes rolled. I asked her what her opinion is as she never really said much about it.

"well, It's your choice, but do you really want to do it?"

That's when the penny dropped.......I don't really

Now it feels like a massive weight has been lifted from my shoulders

Stay well clear. You're so vulnerable on a bike, the risks aren't justified by the kicks. More fun to be had on an off-road bicycle.

I've had to turn to the forum since I've been single. It just doesn't feel right thinking for myself. 🙂

I think I'd like to do my big bike licence, never got beyond a 125 trailey when I was younger, always regret not pushing through it then!

Is that premature baldness....

... or is your hair just worn from thumb-pressure?

So in the end you didn't know what you really wanted, and it took your wife to help you find out ?

You best hope that she never leaves you 💡

be honest with yourself what would u actualy use it for?
i have a 100cc speedfight as i only ever use it for commuting 15 mile trip in winter in 30 mins that would normaly take 1+ hours in car due to traffic also silly low running costs and a quick pop to the shops i have no need for anything more so happy to deal with cbt for now may do test but will never NEED anything more than a 125.

Did she also remove your spine while you slept?

Tell her to swivel, get your licence, buy a 1 litre sportsbike and rag the hell out of it.

It's what she wants deep down. You knows it.

Do one of these instead. They can cope with complete novices and if you get addicted dirt bikes are a lot safer than road bikes.

Tell her you've had a change of heart, you're going to take your test then compete in this:
