I could swear I saw the almost the exact same conversation but with the BBC1 and BBC2 twitter accounts.

It was a conversation started by BBC2 to BBC1 - as the GBBO had moved to 1 this year. I guess the one above is ITV tweeters parodying it or something?
oh well, another warm fluffy social media moment crashes and burns...
