A friend sent me this clip. Log harvesting on an epic scale.
Epic is an understatement!
It's ace isn' it.
This solves the problem of how they got the logs into the river.
Some of those mountain men are hard as nails...all cut by hand...

The river that runs through Joensuu where I lived in Finland used to have huge log rafts coming down it, all shepherded by a funny little boat. Amazing to see
