I recognised the name when I heard this on the radio and thought I recognised the voice. I watched the video and, sure enough, it's a guy I used to work with being interviewed.
It's always strange when the constant stream of bad news in the press suddenly involves someone you know.
The irony is, that of the two muslims that I worked with (that I know of), it's not the one who was pushy about it to the extent that I gave up any pretence of politeness or tact in telling him why I wasn't going to convert, it's the one who only mentioned it once in conversation who turns out to be on the committee of the local mosque.
