'Oldies'. At their age I hope I am out and about like that enjoying nature. On a bike or not. Fair play to them

Perfect candid camera. They're all so sweet, genuinely curious too. Hope I'm that active and good natured at their age.

"I wonder if it's been put there to catch trespassers like us!"

Did you catch that line ๐Ÿ™‚

Ha ha wow wasn't expecting this many replies. to answer a few questions:
no walkers were hurt in my final bash at it I made sure they were all well down the track. they asked if i wanted to get past but i declined. We then had a good laugh about how the footage would turn out, didn't think it'd be as good as it was though!
I'd said hello to them all 15-20m up the track and was very polite as they went past - i don't want to give mtbers any worse a name!
T could see them all looking at the camera and made sure none moved it.
ahwiles - yeah i was going as fast as possible on that bit but i could see down the trail etc.

Yeah you can see the OP waiting nicely at the top - good show. Giving way and being courteous really helps, people don't then feel animosity when you subsequently tear off down the now empty trail because they've seen that you can be nice and are considering their feelings.

Shame we didn't see any of them pointing at a plane.

Bloody CCTV is everywhere now, even in the woods.

edit - play the sound from the ramblers over the chimps clips - hilarious.

Great stuff ๐Ÿ™‚ Particularly enjoyed the bloke having the internal monologue about taking it being in sync with the chimp actually attempting it ๐Ÿ˜†

Very funny. Seem like a nice bunch, picking off some techy walking trails too.

And a good bit of riding too.

Some IP camera can be controlled remotely from an iPhone with TWO way audio. This would allow you to chat to the ramblers... "hello I am John craven and you are now on country file".

Superb ๐Ÿ˜† ...both the original vid and Greeble's vid. A reminder of what makes STW great imo.

Notice how old they all are? A friend of mine is in a cave rescue team and he says there are fewer and fewer young people going out caving and getting into trouble. When all those oldies have passed on we'll have the countryside to ourselves if we can tear ourselves away from our computers.
