I am trying to uninstall some Tacx Fortius Software owing to some errors that have crept in.
I have tried the uninstall feature using Installshield but it doesn't work. I have then gone into Control Panel to remove the software this way but get the error message:
an error ( - 5005 0x8000fff) has occurred while running the setup
Does anyone know a workaround?
I am using XP SP2 btw.

Try installing it again - then deinstall
ok I'll give that a go.
No.. it just installs a new copy of the program alongside the old one. The ew one uninstalls fine, the old one just keeps on with the same error. 🙁

Try in safe mode failing that revo uninstaller.
In the end, after several passes through revo uninstaller, I finally succeeded. Thanks for your help guys.
