Ayup all - does anyone have any suggestions of a piece of software I can use to draw out a design for a new garage? I want to do a basic drawing for the council to decide whether or not I need planning permission.

pencil, paper and a few dimensions should be plenty for the initial discussions? Maybe Sketchup if you must?

Been fiddling with sketchup the past couple of days to knock up a new shed design. Seems pretty good so far, and some of the examples are well worth checking out to see what it can really do.
