Some other sort of container based development thing?

I'm just trying it out, to mixed opinions. It amuses me that when I started writing C on my Atari it would take a few minutes to compile the code. Then over the years computing power increased to the point that files compiled instantly. Now, when I want to run my code, because it has to build a docker image blablabla it's back to taking several minutes! ๐Ÿ™‚

do you really need Kubernetes? Most of the teams I've seen using it have been fairly hamstrung by it's complexity

An interesting viewpoint but not one that is new to me. I'd be professionally interested in this experience actually.

local development you ought not to need to rebuild containers very frequently if you are using a shared volume?
