Can anyone recommend a parking spot for Old Trafford?

Most United fans find it convenient to leave their cars in the driveway in Islington.

Fabulous interview with Klopp. Whether it's frustration, whether it was a penalty or not, I think it's great to see someone who can be respectful but also opinionated - far rather that than the stuff you see from Mourinho or even Guardiola where they basically refuse to answer questions.

Setting your team up to give away 75% possession at OT and whining about the ref. Not what United fans really want to see at home.

Amusing though, Mourinho spending the build-up talking about how City are a bunch of divers. Herrera needs to work on making it look a bit more convincing.

Happy days... 😀

Well City just once again demonstrated the gulf between them and everyone else. They’re on another level. We looked scared of them. At Old Trafford FFS

The title is done and dusted

Let’s take a moment to re-live the last time someone threw away a lead like that. Somehow I can’t see Pep doing this...

😆

Wasn’t there another derby on? For the mid-table places? How did that pan out?

Dunno binners - he's definitely got a rant in him. See the odd comments to Nathan Redmond the other week!

Yeah, but Jose ain’t Fergie. Nobody is. Takes a special talent to cause this....

You’d think somebody would have shown him the Keegan thing and said ‘this is what he does’, then you lose it, implode, and he wins the title. Again.

Dude, those days are long gone! Can't see a United title next season either, give its number three for Jose!

Now reported that there was a fight after the game. Jose in the middle of it all.

this

Hard to see anyone beating them and Jose played the Jose way and lost

Big fella up front is not that convincing in attack or defence.

Unfortunately, I can only see this City squad getting better. I reckon we could be looking at absolute domination for a few seasons. Everybody is playing catch-up already, far from convincingly.

I hate to say it, but its great to watch

I wonder what odds I can get on them doing the treble this season?

Big fella up front is not that convincing in attack or defence.

His confidence is shot. You can see that he doesn't want the ball. He needs dropping for a few games.

City should be happy. Potential banana skins for Liverpool and United, but ones they should overcome. Quite a tough draw for spurs (especially after having the toughest group in the last stage), and hard to see a worse draw for Chelsea.

Waiting to see how the draw will come together over the coming rounds, at least we will lose either Madrid or PSG.

This seems to be the order.

Juventus v Tottenham
FC Basel v Manchester City
Porto v Liverpool
Sevilla v Manchester United
Real Madrid v PSG
Shakhtar Donetsk v Roma
Chelsea v Barcelona
Bayern Munich v Besiktas

I think that means that the 4 English teams in the top half of the draw only have Juve as a big challenger and each other to prevent them from reaching the final (ok another team may find a shock result). While the bottom half is likely to see the "favourites" eliminate each other.

I am reasonably confident of an English finalist this year.

Porto are very good at the moment. Liverpool shouldn't be thinking 'slip up'.

Mark Hughes must be on thin ice now! He's managed to change one of stuffiest, tenacious difficult teams to play against to the worst defence in the league.

City are absolutely taking Spurs apart here. They should be about 4 up by now

How many bookies have paid out on City now? It’s already done really isn’t it?

Not if all the teams City yet have to play follow Danny Murphy's advice to kick City off the park. Spurs tried and failed but could easily have ended Sterling and KdB seasons.

The way England players like Deli Alli and Rooney allowed to kick players and get away with it domestically is a big factor in the national team's underperformance at tournaments.

It is pretty sad when a talented team like Spurs resort to such tactics - they have form for it though - see last season against Chelsea

Lets hope Bristol are respectful in victory, and that their manager doesn't do anything uncouth, like running down the sideline or running around to all corners of the ground wagging his finger.

I'm sure I can feel the tremors from Ashton Gate from my house.
Probably the baseline as Bristol play a selection of tunes from their favourite beat combos in the dressing room.

their manager

He's doing alright to be fair. Seems a good bloke. As was his old man. I only hope he fulfils what looks like some potential.

Yes!! As a full-time Liverpool fan, and a part-time Robins fan (Mum's family are from there and I've been to see them a number of times and always follow their fortunes), this is a good day.

Blimey!! 😯

World class attacking

Sunday league defending

Under 12’s standard goalkeeping

Watching this with my scouse mate who predicted a 5-4 final score before kick off, but wouldn’t commit to who. He may well be right

Could/should have been 0-3 down at HT, but then within a few mins we were 3-2 up....WTF!

It was never going to last though! 🙁

Fantastic game! Utterly bonkers. 2 great attacking sides. 2 absolutely shambolic defences. Quality viewing.

Before the game we said this match would be decided by who makes the most defensive howlers.

Mignolet is an absolute liability. You’ll never have an even half decent defence when you know you’ve got someone flapping away like that behind you

Bog standard Liverpool! I've said that about Mignolet for a while binners - he affects the whole defence. Pulls off some world class saves but then all keepers do. Always got a howler in him.

The Mignolet "attempted save" looked like he'd been paid to let one in. Forfend.

It’s why they concede so many from set pieces. Watch any decent keeper and they’re organising and setting up the defence in front of them. At set pieces, or crosses whipped in, he looks like a rabbit in the headlights

Huh.

The January transfer window will open on Monday to Liverpool’s extraordinary world-record £75 million signing of Holland centre-back Virgil van Dijk from Southampton.

Wasn’t Lovran the last defensive solution to arrive from ‘name your price’ Southampton?

That went well

It won’t make a blind bit of difference to the hopelessly naive, headless chicken style of defence that [s]Kevin Keegan[/s] Klopp favours. Surrounded by mediocrity (at best), with a midfield that can only run in one direction, and with Mignolet flapping away behind him, his career will no doubt go the same way as every other defender who arrives at Anfield.

It’s fantastic to watch, but there’s absolutely no chance of winning owt

They did manage a ‘hens teeth’ clean sheet last night, but that was only because i’d had a bet on 5-1. Bastards! 😀

9 hen's teeth up to now in 20 games. So nearly 50% then.

Only 82% possession away at Newcastle for City so far tonight. Sloppy. 🙂
